Who we are

My name is Halyna Bukliv, I am a woman, mother, wife, friend and entrepreneur.
I was born in Ukraine in 1971, but I have lived in Italy since 2000.

Just moved to Italy, I found myself alone, in a country whose language I didn't know and with two children to raise. I could say that I managed to overcome that period thanks to my determination and fortitude but the truth is that I was able to count on the typically Italian welcome and warmth.

In Arsoli, a small town on the border between Lazio and Abruzzo, I was welcomed by a community and above all by a lady who for me has become a second mother and a grandmother for my children. Amelia's mother it was a pillar, my point of reference, supported and supported me, gave me confidence and security. She was my first home! Because as they say, our real home is not a place but the people we love.

My Italian life began from that village and my first friendships developed that still endure today. Friends who continue to support me with their warmth and that I carry in my heart every day.

MY EXPERIENCE

I started out as a sales representative and translator. With the passage of time I have specialized in accounting and finality aspects, I held a brief position as an executive director.

Then in 2008 I moved to Lombardy to work in a roasting company in the province of Milan and from here it was born my passion for coffee. While having the role of accountant, experience in a small company, allowed me to experience the reality of an artisanal roasting and to come into contact and get passionate about all the procedures, from the selection of green coffee to the creation of the final product, including the choice of raw material suppliers, research of sales channels and contact with customers. Always for the same roasting, thanks to my experience as a translator, I also dealt with import export with the Baltic countries and the former Soviet republic.

In 2020 I found myself, like many, having to reinvent myself and this time I decided, spurred on by the support of my longtime friends, to carry out the Halyna's Coffee project.

THE HALYNA'S COFFEE PROJECT was born

FROM THE WILL to express my gratitude to the country that welcomed me. What better way to thank him than by starting with a product that is a symbol of warmth, of typically Italian energy and hospitality!
FROM DESIRE to accomplish something for me, since I have always worked as an employee, even when I had management and responsibility roles, now I'm ready to become an entrepreneur.
FROM (my) PERSONALITY' extrovert and my natural propensity to establish interpersonal relationships. I strongly believe in the potential of people and the network, I therefore try to develop my collaborations mainly with small local businesses and artisan producers.

The HALYNA'S Coffee brand, with the coffee bean positioned like a pearl inside a stylized oyster, wants to communicate my will to always offer the best.

Italy is a country that has given me so much, it is the country where I found friends and love. This is why I want to focus on Italy and the quality of Made in Italy craftsmanship.
